Warning Signs

When facing personal challenges, changes occur in someone’s usual behaviour

Below are just a few of the early warning signs that shouldn’t be ignored:

    • Reduced social interactions with family and or friends
    • Increased absence at work or social groups
    • Increasingly unreliability in making or keeping commitments to others
    • Find it a challenge to interact positively with others
    • Finding it difficult to concentrate and be productive
    • Feeling out of control, fearing the future and unable to bounce back from minor setbacks
    • Every small failure is reacted to as a ‘catastrophe’
    • Not being able to recognise own abilities and overly dependent on others reactions
    • Unexplained and diagnosable ‘headaches’ and physical symptoms
    • Altered patterns of behaving/living/changes in mood and or perceptions

If you or someone you know has any of the above symptoms, we encourage you to make contact either through email or at our drop in Discovery Centre where you can begin to talk about how you are feeling.
